Vashon Care Network's Care Closet 

Loaning medical equipment and providing personal hygiene supplies to the Vashon Island community

How It Works

Islanders in need of medical equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, crutches and canes) or personal hygiene supplies (such as Depends, and incontinent care items) can contact our Care Closet which will provide them free of charge.
The Care Closet inventory consists mainly of equipment and supplies which are donated by the Vashon Community.  

We provide a list of acceptable equipment and supply conditions to ensure that all our loaned equipment is in good condition, clean, and ready to use.  

  • Bring borrowed equipment back to the Care Closet located at 1863 Vashon Hwy SE.

  • Leave under the sign located on the south Care Closet barn that indicates "Leave Returned Equipment Here".

  • If you haven't returned your signed Waiver, please place it in the plastic box located to the left of the door on the north Care Closet Barn.
